Today's authors usually employ gratuitous jargon like the mentioning of bigger names of already made authors, and directly following their lines of thinking without offering anything new. It should be understood that copious references to established authors are no substitutes for good writing, as someone noted that, erudition is no guarantee of clarity. Apart from jargon associated with many write-ups, the writers go on to deck their articles with quotes which make people believe that they are a sort of mantras capable of taking them to the heights they are aiming at. Quotes from other people, no matter how prominent, are not to be used to legitimize another writer's work or ideas in writing; rather they should transform the thinking of their readers. Finally, writers are fallible. They can surely swim in the seas of many ideas and behave unethical, changing some people's voices to sound like theirs. Ethics are not gratuitous and are very important in the life of every writer. Though ethics is a personal thing, yet it is right to explore who owns the copyright and decide on how best to treat the information you receive.
